Players must attend the tournament at the location closest to their residence. A first-round bye must be requested online before the start of the tournament. All other byes must be requested before the start of round 2.<br \/>\n<strong>Sections: <\/strong>The tournaments will be held in four sections: K-5, 6-8, 10-12, and Girls. Girls may play either in the Girls section or in the appropriate grade section.<br \/>\nThe winner of each section qualifies for a playoff between the winners in the North and South to determine who will be the state champion and be invited to the Tournament of Champions corresponding to their section.
