MAR 4-5, 2023. NEW JERSEY HIGH SCHOOL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 5SS, G/60 d5. Union County Vocational Technical School, 1776 Raritan Rd., Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
FORMAT: INDIVIDUAL/TEAM: students will play as individuals in three sections.
1) VARSITY BRACKET (must be in Grades 9-12) – the 5 Highest Rated players from the same school will constitute a team. A second VARSITY team may be entered consisting of the 6th through 10th highest rated players from the same school. Schools with fewer than 5 players and/or individuals may also enter this section. A minimum of 2 players per school is needed to be considered a team. TROPHIES to: top 5 Schools; top 10 individuals.
2) JUNIOR VARSITY BRACKET (must be in Grades 9-12) – the 4 Highest Rated players from the same school will constitute a team. A second JUNIOR VARSITY team may be entered consisting of the 5th through 8th highest rated players from the same school. Schools with less than 4 players and/or individuals may also enter this section. A minimum of 2 players per school is needed to be considered a team. TROPHIES to: top 5 Schools; top 10 individuals.
3) BOOSTER (grades K-12) Open to all grades, all ages. Trophies to top 5 individuals.
ALL SECTIONS: USCF membership required. Entry Fee: before 12am 2/28/23, TEAMS: 5 players = $150; 4 players = $120; smaller TEAMS and Individuals = $30 per player.

ON-SITE REG: 8:30-10:00 (On-Site Reg = 1/2 point bye for round 1 only). REGISTRATION must include: Full name; USCF ID # and expiration date; School; Grade; Coaches and/or Parents phone number; Make checks payable to NJSCF
