Come join hundreds of other young New Jerseyans on the Sunday before Thanksgiving to play for individual and team prizes in one of our biggest scholastic tournaments of the year! On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, Kids from every grade will get to compete against their peers for the honor of being their grade’s state champion.
***Note*** Players must either have NJ listed as their state on their USCF membership or attend school in NJ in order to play.

TEAM STANDINGS
Format: 5 round swiss, G/30;d5
Location: Brookdale Community College – Warner Student Life Center off Arena Drive; parking in lots 6 and 7
Sections: K-12. Players MUST play in the section exactly corresponding to their grade
Equipment: Boards and sets will be provided; players should bring their own clocks
Prizes: Trophies to top 10 players and top three school teams in each section. Trophies or medals guaranteed for all players with 2.5+
Rounds: 10 AM and ASAP
Entry Fee: Online: $43 by 10/20, $48 by 11/9, $53 afterward; $53 by mail postmarked by 11/9; $65 onsite.
Bye Requests: One half-point bye allowed. Any round if requested by 7 PM on 11/19, last round if requested before the start of round 2.
Refund Policy: Full refund if requested by email by 11:59 PM on November 13; 70% refund if requested by 7 PM on November 19; afterward, no refunds.
